This photo shows a beautiful lioness relaxing on a rock, set against a brilliant blue sky background. Wildilfe photographer James Warwick took this photo in the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. Of this photo, Warwick said “When I took this picture, I was captivated by how such a formidable predator could give off an air of such gentleness, contemplation and serenity."
