The Natural History Museum of London will host a beautiful exhibit from October 19th, 2012 through March 3rd, 2013 of 100 photos that provide a spotlight on the rarely seen wonders of the natural world. These esteemed images were selected as award-winners at the 2012 Veolia Environnement Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition on October 17, 2012. Amongst the award-winning photos are seven images taken by Panthera’s Media Director, Steve Winter, for which he won the Wildlife Photojournalist of the Year Award and the Runner-up Prize for The Gerald Durell Award for Endangered Species!

Visit the exhibit to see Winter’s captivating images, taken in India, Thailand and Indonesia of wild tigers, the key threats facing the species and wildlife patrols working on the ground to prevent poaching of this endangered species.
