Very little formal scientific research has been conducted on the Asiatic cheetah, which is why Panthera is working closely with a number of national and international partners, including Iran’s Department of the Environment, to gather data on the cheetah’s use of habitat range, movement patterns, ecology and biology using camera trap images such as this.
