Originally from Australia, Victoria de Bruyn is one of Panthera’s field scientists currently conducting research for Panthera’s Munyawana Leopard Project in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. In 2003, Victoria joined Panthera as part of a holiday research program while studying biology at Melbourne’s Monash University, the research center through which Panthera’s Munyawana project is operated. This project quickly evolved into a full-time research position for Panthera which now involves the running of camera trap and ranch management surveys, remote fundraising, web design and many other field activities.
