Our global conservation efforts seek not only to save wild cat populations but also to preserve the landscapes, communities and culture that they’re connected to. When you support Panthera, you help us protect these species and the wild places they live, providing a sustainable future for all of us.
We believe that saving cats means saving the planet.

A Decade of Wild Cat Conservation Accomplishments
Amid the holiday rush, a new decade approaches. We invite you to join us in celebrating some of the major wild cat conservation accomplishments of the past ten years from around the globe. Some of these amazing achievements include:
Quadrupling tiger populations in key protected areas in Nepal and India
Establishing community-based projects such as Furs for Life in southern Africa
Unprecedented international effort to save the jaguar in the Americas
This holiday season is also the perfect time to look ahead to our goals for protecting wild cats in 2020 and beyond. We’re seeing new threats to wild cats emerge, from the targeted poaching of lions for their body parts to extreme man-made forest fires. When you support Panthera, you protect these species and the wild places they live, helping to provide a sustainable future for all of us. Thank you for being part of our pride.
A generous donor has challenged our supporters to match their one million dollar gift. When you make a tax-deductible gift to Panthera before the end of 2019, you’ll get a gift in return! Just donate $100 or more by midnight on December 31 and we'll send you a code for a discount on exclusive Panthera merchandise at our online store.
The people I work with, the ones who sweep deadly wire snares from Kafue National Park and risk their lives confronting poachers, they are truly heroes for our planet. But they wouldn’t be protecting five prides of lions and Kafue’s many leopards and cheetahs if it weren’t for Panthera’s other heroes, those who give to save cats they may never see and habitats they may never visit. I am truly grateful for the heroes both in the field and from afar.
