Film is an incredibly important medium for conservation. It allows one to portray science and nature in a format that is both visual and emotional, contributing to the understanding of the observer. Film can not only educate, but it moves people to act, to advocate, to step outside of an existing comfort zone in order to save something that is clearly so special to our planet and to our own existence.
