Dr. Paul Klotman is President and CEO of Baylor College of Medicine. Formerly, he served as Chairman of the Samuel Bronfman Department of Medicine at Mt. Sinai Medical Center, as well as a Professor of Immunobiology, a Professor of Gene and Cell Medicine, the Fishberg Professor of Medicine, and the Chief of the Division of Nephrology at Mt. Sinai. Previous to his work at Mt. Sinai, he held several positions at Duke University Medical Center. Accolades include the Henry Christian Award for Medical Research three years in a row (1991-1993), and the Upjohn Academic Achievement Award. Dr. Klotman has written approximately 240 medical publications. His interest in animals and wildlife was confirmed with his undergraduate degree, a B.S. in Zoology from the University of Michigan.
