Panthera CEO Dr. Alan Rabinowitz to Appear at The Moth - November 2, 7:30pm, NYC


Panthera CEO and big cat expert, Dr. Alan Rabinowitz will appear at The Moth's Town Hall event -Raising the Roof - on Wednesday, November 2nd, at 7:30pm to share new stories from his decades-long career in wild cat conservation.

Join us to learn how Dr. Rabinowitz first became interested in saving wildlife, and hear about the incredible encounters he had with the Taron people - an isolated community on the verge of self-imposed extinction - while working to create the world's largest tiger reserve in Myanmar's Hukaung Valley.

Dr. Rabinowitz will be joined by event host, Garrison Keillor, and several other storytellers, including writer Elna Baker, comedian Mike Birbiglia, author Tina McElroy Ansa, and author Jonathan Ames. In addition, the 2011 Moth Award will be presented to the family of Spalding Gray in recognition of his life and work.
